My son was killed when he was 25-yrs of age, and because the authorities did not look into his wallet, they did not see that he was an organ donor. Fortunately, I did, and called the hospital, as my son was still there, as he was killed on a week-end, you see, the "eyes" are good for 48-hrs. The only organ that can still be used. The CNIFB (Canadian National Institute For The Blind), sent an Ophthalmologist, and to-day, 2 sightless people now SEE through my son's donation. Good for your sister, now let her read this. Remember, the eyes are the window to the sole.

Yes I do believe in Organ Donation. However, I didnt always. My son was born to have renal failure = no kidneys. If organs had been available, perhaps my son would still be alive. I do believe organs should be donated. It could give someone a second chance. Exspecially those who are young, and have not yet had a chance to even experience life. I will be donating my entire body, everything! It will be the one lasting gift I'll leave behind, to hopefully make a difference in someones life somewhere. I want to be someones miracle. If every body on this planet could just donate, even one organ, what a difference that would make, to someone. The list for organs is bewildering. People die just waiting, and waiting, and waiting. The more people donate, the shorter that list could be. You posed an eye opening question. I hope all who read it, at least ponder the idea.

i would donate everything, even my eyes.
if i can help a baby, toddler, mother or even a grandmother have a chance of life then i am all for it. If i was taken ill and needed someone's organs so i could live to see my daughter grow up i would be very grateful to the family involved in the organ donating.

I believe in donating organs if it means saving someone's life. I would donate mine after I die if it means someone else can live a full and happy life. Knowing that I made some family happy by saving someone they love would make my life complete!

I think I have the same view as a few other anything except my face ( I think you can donate this now) and my eyes, It is because everything else is inside you and I think that people who knew me would find it strange seeing someone else with my face or eyes.

I made a conscious decision to carry a donor card when I was 10 and I've carried one ever since. My parents believe in organ donation as well.

I would like to go on record as saying I would never donate anything and I would never like anything donated to me. I don't care if a donated organ could save my life, I want to be me to the end, even if that means it's premature!
Before you clever-dic.ks get in, I do donate blood for those who want and need it, but I don't want theirs! But I view blood as urine, my body can afford to waste it. I don't want anyone Else's though!
I am a pure believer in human survival of the fittest, I don't want help for any mistakes I make.

Yes I am an organ doner and strongly believe in it. I will donate everything apart from my pancreas because it is genetically flawed and would be of no use to another human being.
