What are the alternatives? I'm considering buy a set of Saladamster cookware (about $3000 for set). Are there others stainless steel 316 non-stick cookware comparable to Saladmaster out there?

I bought a set of Salad master 20 years ago,and they are very good,except for the handles. They all burn off after a few years. My advice is don't buy them. They are not worth the money. Any good stainless steel brand will do just as good,and not cost near as much. Be sure they are heavy and you will be satisfied,and have lots of money left.

What were you cooking with before? It's probably just because they're stainless steel.

All Clad is the best. Pricey but really good product.
