Well, we don't consider it 'strange'.

In my faith the Blessed AlVater himself (Odinn) could just come wandering up to you in human guise. He is usually disguised as a beggar or wanderer. This is why Hospitality is one of the virtues. You never know WHO that is knocking at your door, do you?

Most of them. Especially Satanic ones, Catholics, Hindus. In Christianity the supernatural only occured at the beginning to document the authority ofChrist and the Apostles, then it switched to faith which is believing without seeing. Jesus taught that evil people seek for signs, and that no sign would be given. The love of money is the root of all evil, so most sign seeking groups are also money seeking groups. Just watch these healing evangelists and see how much they love their money. 60 minutes did a doctumentary on Benny Hinn and the guy spent $250,000 on a 7 day vacation. That is money he bled from a lot of poor people who can't even afford a vacation.

If you're having strange experiences, phenomena, alleged dreams, visions, hearing voices, miracles, ad infinitum, you are in something other than Christianity. This should be rejected out of hand. Too, if you're still attending a building others label as a church, still teaching, still making attempts at prosletizing you are in violent rebellion and are to be labeled an apostate. This is a time of silence as practically everybody knows by now.

The Egyptian Osiris, The Norse Odin, The Persian Mithras. for sure, those are all commonly extinct eu religious figures. Many contend that some ingredient of all of those went into the formation of present day Christianity. that would or gained't be authentic, yet I do imagine it would nicely be suggested if not for those earlier lack of life/resurrection thoughts, the conversions of those peoples contained in the time Constantine (and later, contained in terms of Odin) would were a lot harder. i'm not one hundred p.c. particular, yet i imagine there have also been particular Hindu Avatars that were complete and resurrected themselves.

Hinduism has many (the Vedas are full of them - as is the life of Krishna) - Buddhism, too. Read the story of Gautama.
