you should charge about four dollars an hour, probably more.

Ask yourself these questions:
1. What's your time worth?
2. Are you willing to put up with 3 boys who could be rowdy and maybe a little wild at times?
3. Will you be able to have a chance to study, make enough cash and enjoy yourself and your time away from your client.
4. What do you think you would do with your time? By that I mean can you see yourself doing something more profitable such as working in a restaurant, having freedom and being able to have money in your pocket.
5. Could you also be a tutor to other college students for more than the money you might ask for from your client?
6. Can you see yourself charging anywhere from $5 to $13 an hour and taking the money? After all, a college student needs to study for 3 hours for every 1 hour they are in class at that level.
7. Is it that important to babysit, or to have money?
Answer all these questions and you'll know if you can do this job and be able to charge for your services.
Good luck!

I would charge about $10 per hour or do a flat rate of $50 for a 6 hour evening. That's about what I've paid for two kids (ages 2 and 7). A 12 y/o can pretty much take care of himself, you'll just have to remind him when to go to bed. I would guess that's about the going rate, I could be wrong.

Ask around your area. Where we are (North Carolina) the going rate is around $8 - $10 for 1 child, but for three $13/hr. My wife agrees with this and has been a nanny for over 7 years.
If the kids are bad - charge more!!!

10-15 per hour because three kids are hard to watch but the 7 and 12 years old would be kinda simple and easy to entertain but know a one year old needs constant attention!

it depends on the area and local cost of living however for 3 children it should be no lower then the min wage for your area plus a dollar per extra child
as baby siting can be a stressful job but a lot of jobs are but with the benefits of access to the kitchen frig and TV should also be weighed in

at least 10 to 12 a hour would be good. As long as they let you know were they going and such

well I am a single mom. It is really hard for most of my paycheck to have to go to the babysitter. I know you want to make some money but please don't break the bank! Maybe cut the woman a break and think about how much you would want to pay if you were in her shoes...

I used to babysit my aunts kids, she paid me $5.00 per hour.
Another lady gave me the same amount too, but that was 15 years ago, and only one child.
So, I would say $5.50-$6.50 per hour. $3.00 dollars per child?
