Is there a Sears Outlet near you. They have lots of repos and carry warranties.

You could also look out for estate sales and arrive early. Appliances go fast.

Sam's Wholesale club (division of Wal-Mart) for appliances... and I highly recommend a financing plan from Select Comfort, the sleep number bed. I have a very bad low back, and since I purchased my bed and the new Walk Fit orthotics (tv infomercials - usually on Sundays) my back pain is GONE! It's worth every penny!

I would check the local newspaper ads. Lots of people sell stuff cheaply, not because it's torn up, but simply because they want to re-decorate or re-model. Estate sales are also something to watch.

Good luck!
