I'm feeling very unmotivated and have a problem of putting off stuff. A friend of mine who is kind of a health guru (sort of) told me to eat fruits, like apples, and that it would "cheer me up" and he said, it would take effect "right away, and that the taste alone would be enough." Does anyone else know of any other foods? Please be as specific as possible. Thank you!

I read in a book that Apples and cinnamon trigger energy. So cut up your apple and sprinkle cinnamon on it!

You really should spend a couple of hundred dollars and go and see a Nathropathic Doctor. They are the BEST! He/she will test you and find out what your Are Eating that is producing these affects. Then you will know. This doctor, also can tell you what NOT to eat, and much much more. It is worth every penny. An apple might be good for Your Friend, and have the absolute apposite effect on You. Apple are high is sugar and acid - what a combination for your stomach to digest!Putting things off! well that's got nothing to do with your diet, your a procrastinator! Welcome to my club! Good Luck and take my advice. If you can't afford that, and have health insurance, get a C.B.C.(complete blood count) & a Urinalysis - that can tell your family doctor a lot.

I don't think just eating fruits will help you become "peppy". Some people can trick themselves into being more happier and energetic, but pretending food is going to do that is going to cure the problem. Eating right and EXERCISING yes- like walking or stuff around the house will help your body. And when your body feels better, your mind will feel better. citrus is good and is very aromatic so figure a plan with good food and exercise. Good luck.

Wheat Grass Juice. That stuff is not a joke. I compare it to what Senzu beans were to Dragonball Z. The Ultimate natural energy food. Period.
