Someone will find you and it won't turn out well. Most runaways end up in terrible situations as prostitutes and drug addicts. Some are murdered and never found. Do you want to live on the streets and eat out of trash cans?
Those kids are called The Children of the Night. Don't do it.

You may very well get in trouble and wind up in a detention center as it happened to my older sister as a teen. I'm not trying to scare you by saying this , I realize that by wanting to run away there must be some reason which I don't know what that is. If your a victim of abuse . speak with a guidance counsler at school or another adult whom you trust . Running away often creates more trouble than you now have . Best to work on the problem as best you can . Don't be rebellious against parents because you disagree with them , talk things out in a civil manner. Good luck I wish you well.

Nope. Once you are 18, you are off the hook.
But please be careful, and have a place to run TO... OK?
There are so many awful people out there who will try to take advantage of you.
I did the same thing. Hid out from my mom from the night of my H.S. graduation for 6 months until my 18th birthday. But I had friends who helped, and a job.
It could have got my friends in a lot of trouble. That is something else you need to think about.
If you can stay with another family member or friends, with your parents permission, it would be the best way to go.
Best of luck to you, I know how you feel.

Not if you are 18, but there is always a chance that you will be found, and then you would be in a Lot of trouble. It is not worth the risk. DON"T DO IT!

That would depend of if you have broken any laws & been caught for it. If you are running in order to avoid prosecution, then I don't think your age would matter, but the statue of limitations on your crime would matter! :o)

Why would you want to cause your family grief? You will break your Mother's heart.
