No, everyone who died before Jesus did not go to 'hell' ... the New Testament is called that because it is NEW, NEW rules. The people born before Jesus had the OLD rules, and, as long as they followed them...

Only those who didn't believe that someday the Messiah would come to save them. Those who lived before Jesus looked forward to Him, and those who lived after Jesus look back at what He has done for the whole world of lost sinners.
