its affecting the u.s. because the illegal aliens are taking jobs that the poor can do like manual labor and leaving the poor to die. so they basically are steeling money from the U.S. and taking it to there home country. there for we are losing a lot of money and U.S. citizens aren't getting jobs.

I'm positive that it is affecting the entire economy of the United States. For example: The government uses "billions" of tax payers money to budget Welfare, Medical Benefits, WIC, etc., in order to support illegal immigration. We have plenty of our own poor people that have a hard time collecting these same benefits because they are U.S. citizens & have to go through difficult times to prove that they are poor. I'm sure it would be a lot less crowded if we didn't have millions of illegal aliens here in the United States. I'm sure that we would not have such a huge problem if The U.S. would change the laws in regards to "Anchor Babies". This country should use the same tactics that Mexico uses in order to keep illegal immigrants from entering their country. I pin-point "Mexico", due to the fact that they are the overwhelming majority that tends to cross the boarders due to easy access. This doesn't take away the fact that I don't want to support "ANY" illegal immigrants... from any place in the world. It will also cut down on the "CRIME STATISTICS" if the United States of America would get control over illegal immigration.

1. The rich are getting people to mow their lawns, clean their houses, watch their children.

2. There are more people available to do jobs for wages U.S. citizens won't do them.

3. People have someone convenient to blame for lack of health care, education, and poverty when in reality U.S. Citizens are not doing the hard work needed to solve these issues.

4. We are helping people who would not have much of a life where they left. In return, they clean our houses, watch our children, do our gardening.

5. We can waste money putting up a fence that won't do anything.

6. We have a group of people to blame for our national security who had NOTHING whatsoever do do with 9/11.

7. We can whine we are not racist when we KNOW we would not be making such a fuss over this if most immigrants were WHITE.

8. We can act like we're God and can decide who and who can't be here when we will all die one day and the land will still be there.

Alright. In my opinion, the way that immigration is 'affecting' the U.S. would be just about over-population, because other than that immigrants help out America in many ways. For one, they are willing to take jobs other people aren't willing to do for less money. A construction worker will be paid $10 and hour for slaving away under the sun for numerous amounts of hours and not complain about it. About them commiting crimes.. it's true, many of them do, and i believe they should be punished, but not all immigrants are criminals so we shouldn't judge, we have immigrants commiting crimes just as much as we have americans committing crimes as well. Most immigrants do the dirty work we americans would never even think of doing, whether its because its too much hard work, or because we're 'better' than that. So immigrants help out the economy and the growth of this nation. For all you haters out there saying that thay should all be sent back, suck it up and thank God you were born under better situations and that you're able to live a well adjusted life and not risk it out there like many of the immigrants do!

Young teenagers who would enter the workforce through McDonald or agriculture (and any other "unskilled" work) would loose a job. They do not put in enough taxes to even pay back even 50% of what they use up. They lower the standards and the quality of America. When the wages are driven down while the price of goods go up, the American dream diminishes. It wont be long before we are a 3rd world country.

Now let's see.....If " People " didn't agree to do a kind of work for pennies, the employer would have to raise his pay requirements, raising the price of his product, raising the cost to transport said product, raising the price in the stores of the same product, thus increasing the profit for EVERYBODY!! But the work is done for pennies, and it cost a little less, and the only real person who prfits is that same employer, as he still sells the product for a slightly increased price and pockets the profit. additionally, the " Person " has no health care, unemployment insurance so must live off the tax payer, costing the United States in Un-repaid health, welfare and medicaid and medicare.
Just throwing that out

these are really interesting... i encourage you to read them...

40 percent of all workers are working for cash and not paying taxes. Why would they want to be legal and pay taxes? They would be able to start bringing the rest of their families to the USA.

75 percent of people on L.A.'s most-wanted list are illegal aliens.

Over two-thirds of all births are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by the taxpayers.

Nearly 25 percent of all inmates in California detention centers are here illegally.

Over 300,000 illegals are living in garages.

The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegals from south of the border.

Nearly 60 percent of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

Of the 10 million people in Los Angeles County, 5.1 million speak English and 3.9 million speak Spanish.

21 radio stations in Los Angeles are Spanish speaking.

Less than 2 percent of illegals are picking crops but 29 percent are on welfare.

29 percent of inmates in the federal prisons are illegal aliens.

They also send between about $15 billion back to Mexico to assist their families and prop up the corrupt Mexican government that keeps most of its citizens in poverty. How about a revolt in their own country!

A new figure from yesterday: It cost Los Angeles $276 million in welfare costs for 100,000 children of illegal aliens.

interesting huh?
