they never go out of their way to do EXTRA sepcial things...like breakfast in bed....or little cards or gift bags....or lighting candles with rose petals? It bugs me especially when i'm always doing it!

Some guys aren't lovey dovey like that, some girls aren't either.
Men are simple, just tell him - "hey I would love it if we could do some more romantic things, like [give him some examples]" Tell him you would love it and it would be such a turn on.
Don't drop subtle hints, he won't get it unless you let him know directly. Men are NOT mind readers. Be sweet about it though and let him know it would really make you happy. I'm sure he will have a surprise waiting for you soon after.

Good luck finding that person. Frankly as good as it sounds to be pampered, not sure I personally would like that. I am quite happy with the simple things in life. I dont need all that romantic stuff for me to know that my guy loves me. Its the little things that goes a long ways with me. Good luck!!

Well.....since you say they "never" go out of their way. I'm guessing that the guys you date never go out of there way. Why then do you continually date guys that don't do the things that you say you like? Since you date them regardless, they assume that doing those things isn't necessary, and guess what, they are not necessary or you wouldn't be dating them.
