NYC is a U.S. city, so there's no U.S. embassy in NYC, nor are there any U.S. embassies in any U.S. city. U.S. embassies can be found only in foreign countries. Only foreign embassies can be found in the U.S.

I do not understand. There is no US embassy inside the US. Just look for the local offices of the Dept. of State.

Actually there is an American diplomatic mission in New York - the US Mission to the United Nations with Ambassador Bolton as Chief-Representative. It is on East 45th Street.
