I am so tempted to make chocolate cake. But the recipe needs 3 eggs, and I used them all up when I made cupcakes for class yesterday. Is there anything I can find at home to substitute for eggs?

I bought an egg substitute at the health food store that seems to do the trick. It looks like it's just a a combination of potato starch, soy flour and baking powder. It seems to work well. .
The brand I have is called...Celimix

What is a good substitute for eggs?

Ener-G Egg Replacer - follow directions on box.
2 tbsp corn starch = 1 egg
2 tbsp arrowroot flour = 1 egg
2 tbsp potato starch = 1 egg
1 heaping tbsp soy powder + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg
1 tbsp soy milk powder + 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg.
1 banana = 1 egg in cakes.

Now dont take my word from it, but i heard of a cake mad with tomatos, now im not sure the recepie, but it does taste very good, once you get over the fact it had tomatos in it. Yet it is also healthy.

I heard that you can use apple sauce but I'm not sure what the ratio would be.
