the system is not failing because you don't get the right answer all the time from the correct system. dyslexia is live and well in everyone. first go to any school and get out of the car and look at all the signs that at for crossing the roads and pedestrian information, know think to your self where does most crossing guards hold the children back before letting them out across don't you see that the children are standing backwards to all most all signs out there and only when the crossing guard lets them go do they stand on the right side of the signs so they can read them.....many kid will start to learn things backwards because of the raised letter on street signs and early learning would not decipher this difference and it is this fact alone that is the causes of this alarming rate of disinformation feed to early children
attentions span problems are speed children mostly they can learn anything and they are just not informed about how to stop the information super highways when there young they don't really differentiate in selective ways of slow people they do it at record breaking speeds

where the two miss is that control thoughts to get out of doing quantum leaps is not much fun and you can hurt more than help when the child enjoy their own world more than yours

ADHD is a hyper person who can't pay attention. A trouble maker in a class will usually be labeled this. Dyslexia is someone who mixes up letters and sometimes writes backwards. My cousin had that and she constantly mixed up her d's and b's because to her they looked the same. It is possible to have both, but they don't necessarily go hand in hand.

Yes it's possible to have both. But some would say ADHD is not really a disease. So it doesn't effects the same part of the brain.

I was diagnosed with mild dyslexia, but this was prior to them acknowledging that ADD was possible without the hyperactivity. I mixed up my b's and d's and in the end when I was finally diagnosed with ADD it was clear that I was never dyslexic. Only a specialist can answer that question, but 25 years ago it was used to label people like myself who did not fall under any other DSM diagnosis.l

I have 2 sons age 10 and 12. Both found out to stroll earlier than they might move slowly (at eleven and 10 months of age). They each learn very good, actually whilst my 10 12 months historic used to be in 2d grade he learn the entire Harry Potter books and used to be confirmed at an eighth grade studying degree. I suppose that studying to my kids at an early age each night time gave them an curiosity in books and so they like to learn. Also, my 12 12 months historic used to be identified with ADD whilst he used to be in fifth grade. He wasn't hyper, he simply could not listen in tuition. He refused to take Adderral on account that he might now not swallow capsules. One instructor urged we supply him a Coke each morning as a substitute as this acts specific for youngsters than adults and could supply him the spice up he demands (whether or not it used to be truly or anything that made him suppose it labored, I do not know, however it DID paintings and he bought often As and did a lot higher in tuition). Now he's 12 and does not take some thing. He is at the honor roll. Either he outgrew it or by no means had ADD. Our new health care provider stated simply on account that he does not get all As (which he does now) does not imply he has ADD on account that he's nonetheless finding out what he's taught. So I suppose it relies on the health care provider. I want you the nice of good fortune along with your youngster. If he's dyslexic, it is going to be very difficult, however he can nonetheless do very good in tuition along with your aid. You sound like a nice dad or mum.
