I recently receieved notice from the judge to finish a probation assignment. My question is for whom ever, is a expert or have been though my situation my question is when one get have go to local county jail, and get booked, what kind of process is it, (note. i not going to have to stay only book & release) how long is the average wait time, besides finger print, and picture, do they piss or blood test you if your not even going to stay, just book & release.
answer my question best to your knowledge.

A couple of hours tops. They do not do urine tests at that time. They will send you to a seperate place for that. Try not to go at busy time. First thing in the morning or at night. 2 or 3 in the afternoon is a good time.

Good answers above but one hint. If you get to choose, show up at around 8 a.m. to minimize your wait time, any later in the day and you might have to stand in line (of course depending on your county and the day of the week).

if you have already started ur probation or gettin ready to they will test you to make sure u didnt drink or get high or anything.....and it dont take long.....bout 30-40 min.....and if you dont have any outstanding warrants or warrants period they will let you go.....

They will take your picture and fingerprints and if you have no outstanding warrants release you. It will probably take about thirty minutes.

it don't thak long if they aren't flooded with bookings.
