i have never been baptized, and never been touched by the Holy Spirit. I'm barely even able to go to Church. How can I be saved? If I die today, where will I go? Why?

ps
I don't want to get baptized out of fear of going to hell. I want to get baptized to be saved. But, i've been told it's the same thing. Is it?

You don't have to be baptized to go to heaven, you have to get SAVED...that means you need to put your faith and trust in Jesus to forgive you and repent of your sins. Baptism is merely an outward expression that you've chosen to live for HIM..it is something that you should do, but it's not necessary to go to heaven.

The ONE is a not mean and angry and has not created a UNIVERSE where you can be "left" out of "ITSELF".

You are inside the ONE and will always be. You are saved as you are safely tucked inside the ONE (GOD) where you live. The ONE did not say anything, much less "do this and you will be saved" and "don't do this and you'll be "lost" or damned".. YOU are a child of the ONE and will always be. There is no "OUTSIDE" to the ONE.

Baptism is a Christian ritual that was necessary for the masses when they were "simple" and could be controlled by such "silly" myths of a group of "storytellers", entertainers, who became the "healers" when disease was thought to originate in the "other" or "spirit" world. They were the tribe members who could not do the "hunting", the gathering, the farming, the mining, the fighting, the organizing etc.. and became the entertainers, the storytellers, the musicians, etc... and lived off the emotions such as "fear" and the joys of the population which they manipulated.. We have not evolved that much have we??

So be a good person and you will be "OK"..I won't say "saved"
because you were not "un-saved". You might feel lost, but you don't have to be. You can find yourself and "your gift" that you can share with others to "lift" them up and "save them" from the fear of the "curses" and the "temptations" of the "spiritual manipulators, what some in the UN and in Europe are calling the "intellectual terrorists", those who try to control through fear...The fear of HELL and the temptation of HEAVEN. These are both "made up" stories and a good person does not have to fear the one or desire the other. To believe in one, is to then swing and believe in the other. If you believe in GOD, then the OPPOSITE of God will be the DEVIL. I have left that behind for a belief in the ONE, a numeric, neutral, non-gender based, where ALL (CREATION) is inside the ONE and ONE is inside the ALL. The ALL is made up of the ONE's Stuff. I do not fear life and death and I see both as "blessings" in gratitude. The UNIVERSE or the MULTIVERSE is a beautiful place and to experience LIFE and to be able to QUESTION the ONE and the UNI (ONE)-VERSE and get answers is all the MAGIC and MYTH I need to feel "excited" and "saved"

The ONE will not live in the Churches anymore. Now that the blacks are no longer slaves, the women have the vote and the gays are out of the closet, the ONE will not be locked in the TABERNACLES and the CHURCHES anymore but will be there for ALL, out of doors....OUTSIDE in the UNIVERSE..

May you be blessed of the ONE (what some call God), a name taken from the barbarian, germanic tribe the "GOTHS", who invaded Rome in the 4th century with their cousins the VISIGOTHS (children of GOTH or God) and the Vandals (that gave us "vandalism" and we still use their word for the CREATOR!!! It's no wonder we are always at war and that our societies are crumbling....

Let's get ONE and ONLY ONE CREATOR....CAll it the ONE.

PS...As an ex-catholic, I was also afraid of not being baptized and when my children were born, I baptized them myself in the name of the ONE and the ALL...Not the minor tribal "god" of a nomadic warring desert tribe in the "near east". The ONE does not belong to any RELIGION or tribe even though they call themselves the "chosen", the saved, the saintly, the believers, etc.. I see how they live and I don't want their minor god or their mythic heaven and I don't fear their "fantasy" hell!!....

ONE is not that petty...If I am a good person, I will reap a good harvest, it is the LAW....

Salvation is based on what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for you. He died for your sins,, He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. He did it all for you. Believe and trust in that and the Holy Spirit will baptize you into His body which is the church. Water baptize is a work, it has nothing to do with our salvation. If the Spirit baptizes you into His body why would you have to be water baptized to get into God's heaven? Ephesians 4: 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, If the scriptures say that there is one baptism how can they be two today? We are saved by grace thru faith not anything you do. Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Read your Bible, don't believe what people teel you.

people who get baptized out of fear of going to hell don't always believe in their hearts. If you believe that Jesus died for your sins and you try your best to live as He would then you are going to heaven. That doesn't mean that you can't make mistakes and it doesn't mean that you have to get baptized at all. The holy spirit is here to guide everyone, it's pretty much your conscience, the Holy Spirit tells you right from wrong so I don't understand what you mean when you say you haven't 'been touched by the Holy Spirit'.

first rejoice you have been baptized by the baptism by desire the very first gift of the Holy Spirit and fear of hell is next or should i say fear of God because we now know that we are all sinners. as a new catholic my self i had these same thoughts not so long ago i/e oh no where will i go? but as we get used to the fact that God loves us the more we want to make him happy we don't go to church for our friends or even the priest it is to give our LORD thanks and praise so pls. take the next step and be baptized for him a symbol of our love for him
ps. baptism by desire is a (saving grace)

It really depends on what religion(segment of Christianity) you actually believe in. It would be good if you had some good Christian friends who can help you and keep you accountable to the principles you believe in. I do not believe that if you aren't baptized, you will go to hell. I believe being baptized is an outward sign to others of your faith, belief in Christ. If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, than you are saved. So, no worries. You don't have to go to church to be saved....that is more to help you in your fellowship. The Holy Spirit is a bit too complicated of a subject for this type of forum. If you truly believe, His spirit is with you.

you don't have to baptized to be saved, being baptized doesn't save you, it is more like a confession of a changed life, that is why there is no Biblical reasoning behind baby baptisms, it doesn't save them. if you want to be saved accept Jesus into your heart, and you don't have to be at church to do it, you can accept Him wherever you are. If you sincerely want to go to church, pray about it and ask God to provide a way for you to go more often, He honors requests from a sincere heart, going to church doesn't save you either, ask for the gift of the Holy Spirit, and you won't be denied, once you accept Jesus he comes to you to lead and guide you, he was the counselor Jesus spoke of. Even if you don't ever feel him touch you he's there, telling you right from wrong and prompting you about things, if you aren't saved and you die today then you'll have to be sentenced to hell, if you are then you will go to Heaven,

You do not need to be baptized to go to heaven. The thief on the cross beside Jesus went to heaven, we know for sure because Jesus said he did, and he was never baptized. Baptism is never commanded in the Bible, in spite of Baptist teaching. Neither is a "touch from the Holy Spirit" taught in the Bible, in spite of pentacostal teaching. Trust your Bible, it says in Romans 10:9 "...that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED." 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; 13 for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED." This is the simplest and most concise statement in the Bible on how to be saved. Just follow it. The key to salvation is submitting to the Lordship of Jesus. Also ignore the contemporary teaching on accepting Jesus as your savior, that too is not in the Bible. The key is to humble yourself before Him and pray that he will accept you. Romans 15:7 Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God.

Baptism is an outward expression of what Jesus has done in your heart. Baptisim is something we should all do because Jesus himself was baptized. However it is not a condition of salvation. The theif on the cross is evidence of this. He was not baptized, but Jesus said this day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

What brings salvation friend is your desire to acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior....
Salvation is as simple as ABC as we are shown in Romans :10 verses 9-10

A - Accept that Jesus Christ is the Son of God your Savior.
B - Believe that he is exactly who he said he is... the Messiah/Savior and that he gave himself willingly on the cross for you. And that on the third day he arose as the Risen Savior.
C- Confess him with your tongue acknowledge that you have accepted him as your Savior.

Here are the actual scriptures from Romans 10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

I applaud your decision not to be baptized because of fear. When you make that decision it should be out of a desire to publicly acknowledge that you are saved and your commitment to the Lord. Not out of fear or guilt.

God bless you will be keeping you in prayer.
