I can't taste much of anything and it feels awful... it hurts... What can I do to get that coating and feeling back on my tongue?

ouch...not sure anything will help except time. You might try gargling some warm salt water. I've had that happen, it won't last long...:) It does hurt though!

Just wait awhile. The enzymes cut up the protein, so I guess you should eat some protein as well. Though The second part is a guess.

Try drinking some milk this may help to bring back some moisture to your tongue.

Wait two days and then eat an apple. Did your pineapple have added sugar?

OUCH......maybe drink somthing warm, like tea. Try not to eat any solids it might hurt more.

i dont know but that sounds like a peronal problem to me,,, try eating alot of ice.
