I have a beautiful painting done by B. Messani. It looks like a roman garden and a pool. It has been in my family for more than 40 years and I don't know anything about it.

The only recognised painter close to this name is a poorly known artist called L. Messani who was working at the end of the last century.

I have a Painting B Messani , with a stone dome building with stone columns on a small water way , on the opposite side there is a stone slab landing with cut stone boarder . The trees in back of the building are tall pines and the trees on the opposite side of the water way are whit barked trees with some trees changing color like the begging of Fall the sky is partly cloudy in this painting. This painting has been in my family for 51 years that I know of.

I just bought a garden print with stone steps and white columns. I actually bought the print for the frame, but I ended up keeping the print, also done by B Messani, for the project I purchased it for .... I added a set of antique 1939 paper dolls to the print, so that it looks like the wedding party is in the garden. This is a gift I am giving to my niece for her wedding this month. The vintage paper dolls were her Grandmother's and now mine. The print is very "dreamy." I would love to see a photo of your family's painting. I too have been trying to find more info on the mysterious B Messani. I don't think he/she is the same person as the L Messani mentioned above.
