Turn them half way thru the cooking time. I use parchment paper in the pans, and mine never burn.

I've had the same problem. You just have to keep turning and rotating them for about the 25 or 30 minutes they're in the oven. Try lowering the tempurature to 300 though.
If nothing else buy the frozen meatballs in a bag in the freezer section of your grocery store.
Good luck. I hope this helps you some!

Try a new preparation for your meatballs . . . without the oven.
One suggestion:
1. With 1 tblspn olive oil, lightly brown all of your meatballs in a large pan.
2. (While browing your last meatballs . . .) Empty the entire contents of a jar of your favorite tomato sauce (Newman's Own, Contadina, Ragu, whatever) into a medium-sized pot and bring it up to a simmer. Cover.
3. Drain meatballs and place all of them in the pot with the sauce.
4. Allow them to cook through in the sauce for approximately 30 - 45 minutes, depending on how large you made the meatballs.
5. Serve the meatballs with the sauce, deliciously infused with the meat flavor.
(I use this preparation with hot or sweet italian sausage subsituted for the meatballs, too. Makes for a spicy sauce!)

We get the same problem with fish sticks and chicken fingers. We went to the kitchen store and got these small wire racks that sit on top of the cookie sheet.
The spacing on the racks is small enough that things won't fall through, and they keep the item off the sheet.

I would try several things. It has been suggested that you turn the meatballs midway. I do this myself. I also line my cookie sheet with foil and spray it with no stick spray. You also might raise the rack up one level. Or lower your oven heat. One of these most surely should work! Happy cooking!

I think that if you would check them every 15 minutes or so and turn them (each individual meatball) so a different side rests on the cookie sheet that would eliminate the burning.

I just throw mine raw into the sauce ( I am assuming you are making spags & meatballs?) and cook them in the sauce. Then I skim the heck out of the oil that comes to the top. They are wonderful!
