You have no teeth in the front on top
The top part of your mouth (the palate) isn't closed, it's wide open

There are a LOT Of issues that can come from cleft palates....e.g. difficulty in sucking/swallowing in infants ..... chewing/swallowing in adults....breathing....along with the 'cosmetic' aspect of the condition.
