IN THE UNITED STATES THE "TERROR ALERT" WAS ELEVATED TO YELLOW TODAY.

THE TERROR ALERT WAS UP BECAUSE AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE WAS FOUND IN THE LUGGAGE AREA OF THE CLEVELAND AIRPORT!

IT ONLY TAKES A DINNER PLATE SIZE HOLE TO TAKE DOWN A PLANE!

We must stop the TERRORIST from entering the United States from our Southern Boarder! A deafening roar of racism will result–but with the country at war, pandering to the race advocates must give way to protecting American lives
In 2005 as many as 4 - 10- million illegal aliens crossed into the United States illegally.

2006-11-15 08:31:06 · update #2

During 2005, Boarder Patrol apprehended approximately 1.2 million illegal aliens; of those 165,00 were from Countries other than Mexico. Of the non-Mexican aliens, approximately 650 were from special interest countries. (Terrorist countries)

Federal law enforcement estimates that 10 percent to 30 percent of illegal aliens are actually apprehended.

(That means 6,500 to 19,500 illegal aliens from TERRORIST countries snuck across the boarder in 2005 alone!)

There is an ever-present threat of terrorist infiltration over the Southwest boarder. U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement investigations have revealed that aliens were smuggled from the Middle East to staging areas in the Central and South America, before being smuggled illegally into the United States.

Members of Hezbollha have already entered the United States across the Southwest boarder.

U.S. Military and intelligence officials believe that Venezuela is emerging as a potential hub of terrorism in the Western Hemisphere. The Venezuelan government is issuing identity documents that could subsequently be used to obtain a U.S. visa and enter the country.

The illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries “pay larger amounts of money ($15,000 to $60,000 per alien) to employ the more effective human traffickers and smuggling organizations and are less likely to be apprehended.”

Hey Don, don't skip your meds like that...you're scaring the group...reread your question, there.

The illegal immigration issue is mainly about the fact that the world has changed from 100 years ago. When it was '06 last time, there were only 80-90 million people in our country.
There were just barely 1.5 billion people in the ENTIRE world.
Well, THAT's changed...and demographics play a large part in talking about immigration, as well as illegal immigration. Welcome to the 21st century, where the times, they just keep a-changin', probably faster than anyone's really comfortable with,
and some people have a real stick up their butts about the fact
that america's done so well, and their country, well, yeah...their country's still kind of stuck in the Dark Ages. It's not easy,
and no one likes a lot of change dumped on em. But, as we make another orbit around the sun everybody's gotta sit down and think Really Really Hard about what it is they're doing,
and it'd sure be funny if people that call themselves Conservatives became Conservationists, and all the people out there claiming to have all these religious values actually started practicing them.

Illegal immigration's a symptom as much as it's a problem. When you have places that have neither pot nor window, never heard of pots, in some cases, and their major pastime is having kids, what's gonna happen, there...poor China's just trying to feed their own people, and they're slowly becoming richer, but
times are tough all over. Mexico's trying to find a direction,
and everyone's gone insane about money.

I'm for common-sense stuff, like enforcing the border. Do the basic things, prevent problems later, that kind of thing. Keep people from being able to break the law, you don't have to spend so much time enforcing it.

I do think of the surge has accomplished an astounding sort of what it replaced into meant to, as far as bringing down violence, yet I proceed to be unconvinced that "a loose and self sustaining Iraq is right around the nook." even if violence has long gone down, and a minimum of created an ecosystem the place political progression could be made, it only seems at a standstill, those sort of factions have plenty to paintings out, and would the U. S. help them, constructive, yet there is largely plenty we are able to do, an astounding sort of it somewhat is on them. i will freely admit that I made the incorrect call on the surge, i theory it replaced into hopeless, yet i think of after the mismanagement of the previous 3 years we had reason to be cynical. or maybe nonetheless I in no way supported the invasion, I basically desire it somewhat works out for them, besides the certainty that i think of it is very questionable. it may get to a component the place we've finished all we are able to do, we experienced the army, fended off the terrorists, yet political progression is plenty trickier. properly, regardless of who's the subsequent President, i'm hoping they bypass into it with an open techniques.

Good point wrong scenario, gokart has it partially right, yes the times have changed, because in 1906 forward, immigration has went from comeing here to become an American bring the culture but blend in be an American first and foremost, no adjective in front of American. In no way did they come and say you learn my language, give me a house, feed me because I have baby in this country, I have many kids teach them but not in your language, mine. They came to the sight of the Statue of Liberty, Not the back of a pickup or running from the Law.

Not just the borders, we can even get terrorized from the sky and sea. Be fair, don't make this an immigration issue.

Who honestly cares? It is so amazingly unlikely that I will die in a terrorist attack, thus I have ceased to give a damn. Besides, it wasn't a draft that put soldiers into peril, they made that decision.

i think once are soldiers get back we may end up using them to patrol are borders. then that's when they better watch. because are soldiers will be able to shoot, and get away with it.

i agree with the open border part.. but i don't agree with you on the "coming home without limbs" part. its their job to defend us.. they knew what was ahead of them in this career. yes its sad but that's what makes them such hero's. god bless our troops!
