My hair is bleached from about my shoulder and down. I want to bleach the top so it matches but my mom says I have to bleach my whole head all together. I'm afraid that if I bleach my bleached hair again, it'll just break from all the damage. And i kinda don't want to cut it so yeah.. what do you guys think?

Your mom is wrong. You should only bleach the part that is dark to match the already-bleached ends. If you bleach your whole head, the already-bleached ends will be lighter than the newly-bleached top. You'll damage the ends and cause breakage, and they may become too porous to hold color properly. Your twice-bleached ends may feel like straw because the cuticle has taken such a beating. In cosmetology this is known as "overlapping", something to be avoided at all costs.

That happend to me too when half of my hair was bleached on the top and the other bottom half black, to make it even i only dyed the bottom, it looked even but you still have to dye it another color so it wont look weird.Well anytime you bleach your hair its going to damage it, mine took like a year so it can get healthy again, after that take care of your hair ALOT.good luck!*

putting any type of chemical on your hair is adverse!! i does not propose you bleach your hair again purely placed the red on authentic of the dwindled blue (eco-friendly lol) putting bleach over bleach will reason a good number of breakage on your hair! also with all the chemical substances your installation your hair ..your hair is going to be very dry so i propose you do a conditioning therapy a minimum of once a week. i appreciate the conditioning mask and go away in conditioner said as "its a 10" and combine a touch almond oil with it and distribute on your hair calmly and go away on for a very good 0.5-hour. this may placed the nutrients, supplements, and protein decrease back in for your hair :)

I agree with your mom. Your roots won't match the rest. Dependent on when you did your last dye job you could have some serious breakage. If dying your hair is a serious thing for you...cut it, dye and start fresh. Sounds like it's time for change anyhow. Otherwise I would go for a complete color change.

I've had my hair every color of the rainbow and my hair has seriously suffered because of it. TRUST me....
