They did it again, despite asking for a "STRONG" cup of tea from a station catering outlet, responding "very little milk", I get on the train to find I've a £1.69 cup of milky water, dunking the teabag from then to when hell freezes over, it will still be a cup of milky water. Does that happen to you?

If you can do without the milk just get the tea and it will steep faster. They obviously don't have the 4 minutes it takes to make you some strong tea.
Or you could get a small thermos and bring your own, saving that expense (not to mention the aggravation) every day. It really adds up after awhile.

Get a thermos. Or take your own tea bags and ask for a cup of hot water.
I don't think it's the poor buggers on minimum wage in there just out to get you, the teabags they use in these places are those horrible catering ones (even though they might say PG on the label) not the same quality as the ones you buy at home and obviously a lot cheaper so they just don't make a decent cup of tea no matter how much dunking you do.

They once just gave me a cup of hot water and the teabag separately. . . then a couple of those milk pots. Sorting out that little lot on a tilting train was not fun. Transportation tea is always rubbish.

ask them to leave the tea bag in and ask for a small amount of milk on the side- you can decide how strong you like it and add the milk to your taste.

It used to, but not anymore. My solution: Don't tell them to make it strong, tell them to leave the bag in.
I can't help you on the milk... I take mine either straight or with lemon and honey.
