I would not pay any more than $4.00 because I can make it myself much cheaper......On the other hand; If your packaging was on the fancy side and presentation was great, I might reconsider. But, I definitely would not pay $10.00!

I think you should sell it for $3.95. The common rule is that if you price it just under a whole number (like 3.95 versus 4.00) people are more inclined to buy because psychologically, our minds tell us it is it 'under 4 bucks, for example, and we see it as a bargain and we like that. If you offer taste samples to each person walking by, that would not only be a draw, but to your advantage. Good luck. (if you'd like to share the recipe..I'd love it--with a promise not to ever bake it to sell!)
I'm here in the states-the pacific northwest, and we have alot of sales like that. Food sells, just not for a huge amt of money. If it is larger than it looks in the photo, maybe a dollar or so more...nowhere near 8-10 dollars.

I couldn't tell how large the loaf was but, if it a standard loaf pan, I would pay $5 for it. You might want to consider drizzling some powdered sugar icing over the loaf. I could see it selling for $10

GOOD LUCK!

I would figure out the cost of ingrdients, packaging, and your time. See if you can add in enough to make a profit. Nothing is cheap at a bakery. Don't sell yourself short. Good Luck :-)
