Autism is not increasing, its always been there. Its just Doctors and health professionals are recognising this nowadays and more children and people are being diagnosed with it. There are probably thousands of people who have never been diagnosed. The earlier a child is diagnosed the better, the child can get the proper help and education he/she needs to get on in life as much as possible.

I don't think it's increasing, there is just increased awareness. I can think of several kids I went to school with in the 60's and 70's that everyone thought were strange or weird and made fun of. Now, I think they probably were in the autism spectrum.

I feel that genetics have a factor. I strongly believe that the proper nutrition can help autism. Do a search for the Amen Brian Clinic and read about the research and look up info about Amino Acids and helping autism.
