I hear a lot of people defending illegal immigration. I wonder if they are the same people that are against the Iraq war, and use the excuse that its wrong because its illegal?

I'm not defending illegals or Gray Davis.
I didn't say you were for illegals either. I asked if they were the same people?

Maybe I asked this wrong because people don't know where I stand.

I'm against illegal immigration (born in CA and dealt with it my entire life.)

I've been in the USAF for over 19 years now, went to the Gulf the first time and have 10 of my young troops there now.

You don't make sense! But then people like you seldom do!

People are against the war because it is illegal, and even if it weren't, Iraq had nothing to do with terrorist or 9/11!!!! So, you got a man and took out 153,000 lives!

Eighty percent of the 109 KIA last month were killed by Iraqi's in the middle of a CIVIL war! We have had body bags coming home daily longer than World War II!!

Who said were for illegals? It is people like you who are for illegals! You need the slave labor, but want to pass the rest of the costs to us! You Republicans have had 12 years and you have done nothing! Cheap labor is why!

If you really want to get rid of illegals, start arresting those criminals who are hiring them! No work and they would not be here!

No, but you would rather dump on the victims rather than those who use them!

The pro-illegals are doomed to fail, 'cause they're on the wrong side of the law to begin with, hence the term, 'illegal'.
I'm not sure what the war in Iraq has to do with illegal immigration,
I'm for dealing with one issue at a time. By enforcing the laws,
we'll be solving a lot of problems down the road, I believe.

JOHN F. KENNEDY once said, that the united states was a country of the world. we are full of immigrants. so i guess we would fell obligated to defend a country that are ancestors came from.
i feel if someones going to be here they need to do it legally the way are ancestors did. and the war, it should of never happened. but we're there now, and we just can't pull out. if we do, there maybe more trouble than we bargained for.

Looks like your question brought the morons out of the wood works.
The 'war' in Iraq is wrong because it was based on a lie. It is by far the stupidest and most pointless action our country has engaged in since Vietnam....possibly this century.
Economics 101....if you can't see how a 500% increase in cost will effect you down the line you need to reinvest in school.

its all perpective

to some, its fighting terrorist, to others its going into the middle of a conflict occuring within a country, among its own members

to some, they see illegal immigration as a major problem,,,, yet they didnt in the past,,, has it grown so much, or has Washington now said its major? others see recent invaders shouldnt tell others to stay out

I am against the war in Iraq and also against illegal immigration. We should be minding our own business and taking care of our own people, not invading other countries or allowing ours to be invaded.

Don't even start comparing the Iraq war to immigration.
The war was fought under the premise of defending the US and UK against WMDs. A blatant lie.
How many American and Allied forces have died or become injured since? I've lost count already.
And what of the Iraquis? What of people in Baghdad? How many people are homeless, jobless? How many orphans are there now? You talk of your country being invaded by mexicans. Who do what? Cut grass and pick fruit. Take a moment first and see what your country (and mine too the UK, more's the pity) have done to Iraq.
