if he has said that he'd get help before and didn't then he may repeat this again. I would probably change my number and try to resist him as much as possible. Fine someone new.

He still loves you. Give him and yourself another chance but not without a condition. Tell him that he can’t have both; it is either you or his drinks. Make it clear to him that he must quit his alcohol dependency before both of you can have a chance to be together again. Also warn him that if he ever goes back to his drinking way, you will walk out of the whole damned thing without hesitation.

Well, it may sounds a little harsh. Actually, this is not a difficult thing for a guy to do if he really wanted you bad enough and truly loves you. The condition is necessary, as it will help to avoid repeating a similar heartache as before. If he accepts, it will be good to see 2 families become 1 big happy family and all the fond memories back again. Good luck!

You've now had 10 months of recovery time. Dont scrap it all and go back. You know the same things will happen. You know it. If you go back you'll wind up kicking yourself and asking yourself why did I do this again. Alcohol is a life long battle and one your kids dont need.

do you still have feelings for him, or want him back in your life? if so, you can try again, but at the first sign of things going back to their old ways, i'd let him go.......remember, you broke up for a reason in the first place.....but i am a believer that everyone deserves a second chance, just never a third....
