How do I connect my iPod to the car stereo if I don't have a jack on the dashboard?

I forgot to mention that my car stereo is a 6 CD player (audio only, no mp3).

I bought an adapter on ebay and wired it in. Looks 100% factory. All there is is a little 1/8 inch jack showing. It plugs into the back of my factory stereo. When I select "AUX" on the stereo, my MP3 player comes through. Check out a company called PAC. They should have what you need. (Google: PAC Adapter)

i does not reduce the block connectors off. in case you've been to get a sparkling stereo head unit, you'd be apologetic about reducing off those connectors. that's a soreness to attempt to hint down the colour codes for all of those wires and to attempt to solder them back right into a sparkling connector. only discover the colour codes for the wires on your motor vehicle. discover out which of them bypass to the audio device on your motor vehicle. Then, bypass to radio shack and %. up some speaker twine, pin connectors, and a headphone jack which will in good structure your iPod. connect the speaker twine to the finest wires contained in the block connector utilizing the pins. Then splice on the headphone jack to the different aspect and plug it into your ipod. i will't guarentee high quality without utilizing an amp, although that's easily worth a attempt earlier you spend the money.

I'd suggest a cassette player adapter. You put the adapter in the cassette player (it looks just like a tape), and the connecter sticks out the front, which you plug into the headphone jack of the MP3 player.

I found the best thing since sliced bread...http://www.crutchfield.com/S-9oDEWuNVIo6/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=142FMMOD01
It's not wireless.
It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off. It comes with an On/Off switch that can used or it can be replaced with a relay powered by the remote wire from the radio.
This IS the answer. Totally versatile.
