Generally speaking, atheists don't us the "H" word.
However, we have been know, during a heated argument, to suggest that the other person perform a sexual act upon themselves that, under careful consideration, is probably physically impossible.

Sure, we debate each other all the time -- logically and rationally, the way we conduct the rest of our lives. True debate (where positions are presented logically, and real evidence and persuasive arguments are given to back up positions taken) is good for the intellect.
Unfortunately, it's not something you see very often in discussions here (or elsewhere) between christians and atheists -- I've never met many christians who understand real debate, logic, evidence, or rational thinking. They always seem to resort to, "because the bible says so!" -- which is completely meaningless.

I'm sure atheists debate with other atheists but I am sure it has little to do with religion. And quite possibly they tell each other to go to Hell as well as other colorful phrases.

no. but not all atheists beleive the same thing.
the only difference is if one person loses the debate they dont condemn the other to hell.
ive seen plenty of debates. unlikechristian vs atheist they always end up friendly, some concede to unknown knowledgeand move on, some resist and continue with their beleifs.
happens all the time.

Why? to tell someone to 'go to hell' is a popular retort to someone, whether you belive in hell or not.
It's like saying someone lives in 'lala land'. It isn't real!
Strange that some people think it funny. Hell is a mythological place(in my opinion) where you are damned for all eternity. Still an insult whether you are atheist or not.

Naw, hell is such a loaded word. Many of us prefer to tell each other to f' off. f'ing, after all, is the beginning of life.

No sir. an athiest doesnt believe in heaven or hell, so why have that conversation? But all willl believe one day. God says so, and then its too late.
