I have found that if it is possible to put whatever the cat urinated out in a good rain that the rain removes the smell. Area rugs, some upholstered furniture or cushions, whatever. Just let the rain pour down on it and then let it dry. You may have to do a little cleaning after it's dry, but it's better than smelling it forever. Put it on a hard surface, like a patio or driveway. If you put it in the grass the dirt may splash up on it. It is also a good idea not to put it out when there is a freeze due or it will have to stay outside until the spring thaw.

After thinking about this I figured that with all the animals that use the outdoors as a bathroom if the rains didn't clean it up the whole world would really smell. This has worked for my family. Good luck.

Get the product that eliminates cat pee. One is called 'It's a Miracle". The pet store or farm and grain store will have a few to choose from. When you use it I don't completely follow the directions. I really saturate the area more than they recommend and it works great.

Yeah cat pee is a monster. I had to put my cat down almost 2 years ago. And every now and then I get a whiff of him. It's almost like he's still here.

We're not forever either in that equation, thus it is possible for cat pee to outlast us. Thus for us, it will be there as long as we are in all possibility.

There is a product called "zero odor". It works great, I ordered it off tv, but it might be available at pet stores too.

It only seems like it . I think pet stores sell stuff to neutralize it. That Febreze spray seems to help a lot of different odors, too.
