Pastas, gnocchi, beef, pork, etc. almost everything excluding desserts. Just go ahead - it's your wine, yyou CAN pair it with any food. You can either try to pair according to their similarities or pair AGAINST each other. Experiment - nobody has a perfect answer, not even the coolest website.

The primary grape in wines from Chianti is Sangiovese. Tomato based based pasta sauces pair superbly with this style of wine. Enjoy!

Chianti, it usually has a peppery flavor. If you want to intensfied it then get so sharp cheeses, blue, parm, strong goat and also grilled veggies and some fruit(yes grill me). If you want to not intensified the flavor then do various creamy dips. A good website is uaually whom ever made it...just put in the label name.

I'd drink a Chianti with a fabulous rigatoni with a rich marinara sauce. I'd also serve it with Eggplant Parm - nummy.

I usually suggest people pair foreign wines with the foods of the country they come from. As long as you use common pairings between red and white (i.e. red with red meats, game, red sauces, white with chicken, seafood etc.) you can't go wrong pairing old world wines with their respective cuisine.
