Yes. It is the religion merchants that are really out just for themselves that are the tricksters, who deny what God has placed in front of them.

For those who say that the great flood gives us our fossil evidence of today, there are some mighty big problems with that.
1. The fossils are deposited in order. A flood would mix everything together. You would have Triceratops and Stegosaurus and modern animals all mixed together.
2. The rocks themselves appear in layers. You can see where sandstone is on top of limestone which is on top of mudstone which is on top of granite which is on top of marble which is on top of more limestone (just an example here). The Grand Canyon is a marvelous example of this. Each type of stone is deposited in a different type of way and environment. Each layer tells its own story. People who study these rocks look at the fine details and study the chemistry and physics to understand how the rock got there. On top of all of this there are fossils mixed in with all of it.
3. What about fossils that have been affected by plate techtonics? There was a wonderful National Geographic about dinosaurs about the time Jurassic Park came out. One of the pictures were of dinosaur tracks on a vertical wall. What happened is that millions of years ago, a dinosaur walked across a muddy area, that dried and the footprints were preserved. This was covered up and across the expanse of time, that layer became stone. Plate techtonics and mountain building caused the layers to compress and buckle and that particular area was now pushed up to be be vertical. This does not happen overnight. Each of those processes take hundreds of thousands of years.
4. The great flood story affecting all of the world makes no sense. It is something a cave man would make up to wow his friends. There are so many problems with that story it is hard to list them here. I will let this link handle that:
http://www.biblicalnonsense.com/chapter6.html
What is happening here is that science, once again, is going against the bible. Now, I bet a lot of religious people are wishing for the good old days when they could burn the heretics.
Science told everyone that the world is flat, bible disagreed. World is round.
Science 1 Bible 0.
Science told everyone that the world revolves around the sun, the bible disagreed. The world revolves around the sun.
Science 2 Bible 0
Science told everyone that stars are giant balls of gas billions of miles away, the bible disagreed. Stars are balls of gas billions of miles away (and therefore can never fall to the surface of the Earth vs. Revelation 6:13)
Science 3 Bible 0
Science is meticulous about finding the truth. Sometimes it strays into the area of wrong but it rights itself eventually because there are thousands and thousands of scientists going over every find and double checking and adding to the story. It wants man's knowledge to increase. Evolution has been researched for over a century and every day more and more evidence is discovered that proves it. The bible wants to be the only source of knowledge and therefore cause man's knowledge to stagnate.
No person has brought forth evidence that evolution theory is incorrect. All of the evidence is showing it is what has developed life on this planet. Some people want to ignore that, fine, go hide in a cave and cover your ears and close your eyes and go "la la la la la". However, do not demand that science bow to religion and start to lie about the history of this planet.

I'm an atheist and and evolutionist but there is no reason why Theistic Evolution couldn't be a happy place for a lot of people to be. God created the world and used evolution to create life. No games, no tricks, just plan and simple science used by God for his purposes..
Makes sense to me.

I think Science points more too God than away from God. The two can live in harmony....I happen to know some Christian scientists and you know, it works. lol I think God probably worked through evolution. I think life is like a fine mathematical problem, a beautiful but intricate painting. When you take apart the problem to it's components, or you discover all the colors used in the portrait, it doesn't take from the creation.

Well, let's see. God created the heavens and the earth in one day. Since light travels at 186,000 miles per second, from the center of the Universe it would have taken billions of years to reach earth and beyond. Therefore when scientists say the earth is about 5 billion years old, that would be one day to God. And so on and so forth.

Maybe God created the Earth through the process of evolution. Why is that not possible? Creation really didn't happen in 7 of our days.

I can't think of a good reason for a Being of such superior wisdom/intelligence/knowledge to "trick" anyone. If we assume God is as loving as wise, what is the purpose in playing a trick?
Test? To believe in what? A literally translation of Genesis 1? Believing in a literally seven-day creation account is far less than faith in a redeeming God and hardly necessary for such.

God gave us one chapter on Creation ,We live by trusting in his Word ,You think you could ask us something different once in a while , There is no evidence of evolution common sense tells a man that for everything created means there has to be a creator , U must not have no common sense

I am not certain that God shows evidence of evolution to trick us. If anybody is trying to trick us, it is God's enemy.
That said, I am also uncertain about evolution. Considering what I know of the theory and its subtheories, it appears to me that microevolution is a distinct possibility. It also appears that macroevolution is not. There is much more evidence of micro- than macro-, and the information missing from macro- is extensive and difficult to overlook.
It is conceivable that God created plants, animals, and human beings that adapt to their environment on a microcellular level--that is, at this point I have little reason to doubt that microevolution occurs and is a process created by God.
It is inconceivable to me that God created human beings out of singular-celled organisms, which allegedly evolved over time. The dawn of self-consciousness, for example, is entirely unaccounted for in any theory of evolution. While there are scientists working on this, what they have produced thus far is woefully insufficient to account for the massive leap from creatures that do not have the ability of metaphysical thought to ones that do have that ability.
This is all my personal opinion, somewhat informed by current science, although I have not pored over every single one of the numerous tomes and manifestos.
So, as for macroevolution: Some people say that God put evidence of it in this world so as to test our faith. This is not as nuts as it appears on the surface, since my experience of coming to know God has included the fact that certain things that used to appear evident to my senses have, with God's gift of different vision, been revealed to me as utterly false. That is, there is a certain illusory way that one must perceive the world when one does not have contact with the divine/eternal. This is just the fact of things. It is within the realm of possibility--though I am not espousing it as fact--that God could have left certain "evidence" in matter so as to challenge the faithfuls' belief in his Word.
I have no idea whether God has done this or not, and at present I don't concern myself with it too much. But I also feel the need to mention that God's enemy, who is currently at reign over this world, could indeed have the power to deceive, and possibly may do so through material "evidence." This seems--if any "tricking" is going on--to be the more reasonable explanation/option. But, again, this is just my opinion.
But anyway, if I were to try to answer your question simply, I can't do it. That is, I can't provide you with that answer. While God has permitted me to know him, he has not given me full access to his entire mind. Any speculation as to why he might do something--provided that, indeed, he is doing what is attributed to him--would be simply that: speculation.

God did not give us this "evidence " to trick us- he gave us this evidence of His creation. Unfortuantely , those that refuse to accept it for what it is have fabricated their own story, stretched a truth here and there , left out what did not make sense and voila- evolution- this is so those that refuse to admit and acknowledge that there is a higher authority that they will be accountable to one day can have a sort of intelligent (if you don't look too deep into it) answer for where we came from since there is not one human that is not going to ask that question at some time or another .

actually science says you can tell how old the fossils are by the layer of earth they are found in, and then they say, you can tell how old the layer of earth is by the fossils found in them..:(
I do remember God saying that "if we want to believe lies, he'll send us strong delusions." He does give us what we ask for.
