I really love him and we are happy. He does not look or act 39 except he treats me a lot better than the younger guys i am use to being with. Is that a big age difference and does it really matter?

No, it does not matter. I've been married for a year and 6 months. I'm 22 and he just turned 47 yesterday. I love him with everything I have. We've been together for 5 years and he is the love of my life. He treats me with respect and treats me a whole lot better than guys my own age as well. I'm there with you. Alot of people look at us weird but to me and him age is nothing. When you are both adults and you know what you want, desire and love then so be it. Good luck and don't doubt your love. If you are happy and he is that is all that matters. Cherrish your time with him.

Not at all!

After 25, age is less and less of an issue. I would think it was a little gross if you were 21 or younger. But you are almost 30 now and I'm sure you have a good understanding about what is right or not right for you. If you love each other then go for it!

That's your decision, If you love and adore him what does it matter what others think.??? And well if you think you two are on a maturity level of the same understanding then...stop looking for others approval and go with your own instinct ;-) 13 years isnt that big of diffrence that you woulnt be able to work things out....unless the ages ewre 13 and 26...now that would be a no no

Well My wife whom I'm absolutely in love with and I just got married, and even though the situation is reversed with me being younger, I don't think age should make a difference when your with some one. I am 26 she is 42.

I think it's a good match until he hits 40 in one year and you'll still be in your twenties. When he's 43 and you're 31 it sounds okay again until you get to the next decade. It should work out fine, but of course age is not the only factor in estimating if a relationship will last. A twelve year difference in ages is about the upper limit on my sense of compatibility with regards to age disparity.

Pigtails are cool, flow for it. I used to have hair extensions and many times wore them in pigtails and that i replaced into in my early 20's. now and again I nonetheless placed my hair in 2 plaits like Pippy Longstocking lol and that i'm 25 now. HTH : )

Physical age doesn't matter. If you two are on the same intellectual and personality level, then that's what's important. If you two are truly in love, who cares what others think, they can't live your life for you. My boyfriend is 42 and I'm 30, and we're a match made in Heaven.
