On stage I see a Sure SM58, which has really been the industry standard stage vocal mic for a long time. Not sure about KWCR. If I saw a picture it would help.

RE: (to below) If you are asking me, the SM58 is a cardiod pattern dynamic mic. Most likely on the radio it was a dynamic also. Maybe a Sure SM7, or an Electro Voice RE20, or even a Sennheiser 421. But more likely than not, it was a dynamic. I'm not saying it couldn't have been a condenser though, since I don't even know who this cat is. I just googled his name for images and saw the Sure SM58.

Could be almost any type. Without a picture it's hard to say.

The SM58 is an old road dog, workhorse type mic, but the Beta58s and Beta87s are becoming much more popular. These are produced by Shure Bros.

But, there are many others, like Rode, Nueman, Sennheiser, AKG, Audio Technica, Audix, the list is lengthy.

Even then, to narrow it down, we need to know if it is a "dynamic" microphone or a "condenser" microphone.

Do you have any more information?
