what was the earliest language? if the answer is just plain grunts and moans then what language in use today is the oldest?

also, how do people create new languages? if we all came from the same area(theoretically) then why is there a need for a different language to be created? were they created intentionally so that others wont understand or just happend naturally?

NO QUESTION ABOUT IT, It is either

Tamil, Summerian or Sanskrit

Tamil dating back more than 3500-4000bc
and the birth of Tamil language is still known known yet.
Summerian something similar to Tamil but not as old
and Sanskrit dating back 1500bc

But both Summerian and Sanskrit are dead languages today, the use of Tamil language is still present,
so Tamil language is the oldest language in use till today.

How do people create new language?

Because the creation of languages is not led by one person but by mankind - the beauty of mankind is we are all different and have different interpretations. There is no wrong or right but a compromise!

impossible to know the earliest language. there are certainly languages in africa that predate others as well as in new guniea, but that all depends if they went through dialectal changes throughought their history. The language that appears to have the longest history is the basque language which has been said to have existed since the mesolithic era.

Greek is > 5000 old and more than 3,500 year with written
documents. 90% of ancient Greek words are still
used in modern Greek (and in scientific terms in all
other western languages)

In your question you have used the word "theoritically"
Homer (the ancient Greek poet) used the same word
"THEORITIKA" before 2,800-2900 years.
