getting credit?

does anybody have any ideas on how to get credit (i have no credit) if parents/family arent in a position to cosign/help me??

sometimes you might have to get one of those credit cards they want a deposit for just to have it like First Premier or Orchard Bank...that's how i had to build my credit.

Start with a secured credit card which will require a savings account be opened with the bank issuing the card...around $300. That becomes your credit limit and it is secured by the savings account.

Go get a credit card account. Bring it to its max, then payoff half with first payment date. Next payment date, payoff half of that balance. Third payment date payoff remaining balance. Only request a High Credit of about $200-$300. I have personaly done that and have also heard others tell me this.

If you are 18 or over and you are either working or a college student or both, then you are "bait" for any credit card company. VISA, or whatever, you can get the application form from your bank.

you should start off by getting a bank account if you dont already have one....then putting money into your bank etc...try not to go below amount & if you can use your debt as a credit card...that is one way you can be on your way to earn some credit...its what ive been doing ;)
