Not really. I'd be relieved that I'm not going to hell for all those sins.

Dear Jerse,
I do not know how much science background that you have but the incredible complexity of life gives witness to a supernatural craftsman (God). Scientists have tried to explain how simple one celled organisms became mammals and it is just preposterous. The ability to see is an amazing photobiochemical process that could not happen by random mutation. If a particular change occurred in the process, the system would not work and the organism would die. Mutation is not directional--it is detrimental. However, evolutionists are trying to tell us that these genetic alterations are beneficial.
I would suggest that you look up all the "Christian" scientists that have made tremendous contributions to the scientific field and yet continued to hold their belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible. Please read about Louis Pasteur who made so many discoveries in medicine and bacteriology.

Not at all.
What has anyone ever lost by praying?
What if there is a God? Would you be sad that you didn't pray more or take the time to find out what' you've been missing?

Back when Jews were a tribe, they carried
god in a box on two poles. They called this
box an Ark or Covenant. When they fought
opposing tribes, this god was on their side.
The story goes that if any man touched the
Ark, he would die instantly. And, scriptures
claim this did happen on one occasion. The
box was about to fall. A Jew grabbed the
sliding Ark, and died on the spot.
One night, an enemy tribe stole the Ark to
have god on their side. They touched the
box. Poked the box. Opened the box.
Nothing happened. No one died.
The only power any superstition holds, is
our belief in it.
Today, people still seek to put God in a box.
Religions put God in a designated temple.
Atheists confine God to a box by declaring
there is no God.
Still, life continues to bloom like so many
roses amid the thorns. Invisible forces
govern complex genetics from the tiny flea
to the giant star. And God remains the
promise of tomorrow. A day we have never
seen before.
And that promise extends to all, the believer
and the non-believer alike.

There is no GOD, however GOD does exist as uncreated existence. GOD is not a being watching and waiting for us. GOD essentially is you before you were born, before the big bang, before the seed grew in the apple and before you have a thought in your mind. GOD is essentially nothing and from this nothing comes everything you see in existence.
When you pray, you essentially create an effect in your mind that brings hope and gives you comfort that all is not in vain.

NO. There is a GOd. ONCe He is real to you, you will KNOW too. No prayer is wasted, even on a non believer. For all, there is still some time to choose, but not long.
So, dont worry about wasted prayer, worry only about not praying at all. God bless you. Seek and ye shall find.

I've asked myself that plenty of times and I came up with this answer:
Would you rather "waste your life praying" and live happily under rules and laws that are hundreds of years old?
OR
live your life wondering "if there is a God?" and not do anything about it?

Nope. Nothing in my life would change in any way, 'cause I assume that there is no god (since there's no evidence of any kind for one), and made-up gods aren't any part of my life.
And no, I won't feel a bit sorry for all the poor deluded people who spent their lives preaching to others and feeling all high-and-mighty 'cause they thought they were going to heaven...they will never understand the fact that there is no god, 'cause they'll be dead and decaying in their graves just like the rest of us :)

If there were no God, we'd all be dead. Blaise Pascal's wager says that if you bet on God and lose, you've lost nothing. But if you bet on God and win, you'd win it all, including Heaven. I'd go with a sure thing.

No. Believing in God makes me a better person. I believe the world would be filled with chaos, death and destruction were it not for the belief in a higher Being and an afterlife where our action's today matter in the afterlife tomorrow.
