I lived abroad for 2 years and heard so many stories of people who came over for christmas in the sun and had their christmas crackers taken off them at the airport!!!

As others have suggested, phone the airlines. I'd say it would be fine in the checked luggage, except matches are forbidden in checked luggage, but OK for minimal amt in carry-on (This is from memory, so double check this if an issue.) On the other hand, matches flame, crackers don't, and they aren't actually fireworks.

I wanna do just that this year as well - I reckon they will be fine in the hold luggage but I'm gonna ring the airline before I go, just to make sure!

No you can't take them anywhere on a flight, neither in hand luggage or checked in luggage.

no i wouldnt have thought so i should think they would be taken of you at the airport i would feel a lot safer knowing you hadnt got them on the plane we are flying out end of the month from the uk to florida i wouldnt like the idea of crackers on the plane
