Because it it usually delicious. There are fewer chemicals in it. There is a vast variety of styles. it is often made by small local breweries who really care about their product. It is part of our heritage. I could go on..... needless to say, I love it!

Because it tastes nice, doesn't bloat you with gas, isn't always overpriced, has an enjoyable inconsistency about it, doesn't usually give you a hangover, it is a fine British product, it is the real thing rather than an inferior imitation brewed under licence, it will never give you food poisoning, there is a huge range to choose from etc.
It is rather like drinking real coffee rather than instant coffee, eating freshly baked bread rather than sliced foam rubber, drinking tea brewed from tea leaves in a pot rather than dust in a bag...
And it's even better when you've brewed it yourself!

Take away the taste of artificial carbonation and you can taste the real flavor of the beer. You can sometimes try the same beer side by side at a good brewpub and at Beer festivals. Its worth your time to call a few places and ask them whats on the pump.

Because it is free from addatives and chemicals ,it tastes like ale should not that very poor excuse for ale that is sold now

Because it's made from malt and hops by brewers rather than from cardboard, chemicals and carbon dioxide by accountants.
And it's cheaper too!

It tends to have more flavor and taste. It is also easier to make so many microbrews make it since they don't want to pay for refigeration.
