I have the same problem. Don't wash or shampoo your hair everyday-it washes out the natural oils in your hair. You can however condition it every day or not wash it for a day-depending on you if you want to do that. Conditioners that are good-Herbel Essences-not for dry hair but moisturizer. Also try Infusion 23 spray in-does wonders.

Use a good moisturizing deep conditioner for dry hair, and a shampoo made for dry hair that is gentle and doesn't strip your hair of its natural oils. After washing, use a smoothing balm or a silicone hair serum like John Frieda Frizz-Ease; it really silkens your hair, and you can let it dry naturally for shapely ringlets.
You should probably use shampoo only once a week, but every two or three days you should "wash" with just your conditioner. That helps with moisture and softness, and will weigh down your hair a little.
Put conditioner in your hair and put a shower cap over it, and leave it in for 15 minutes for extra-deep conditioning.

The thicker the hair the more conditioner you need to use, conditioner for *dry hair* . apply starting from the top of your Head and work down , make sure you get the tips . you can also apply conditioner and let it stay in your hair for at least 15 minutes then rinse out. use your fingers as a comb and get all the hair...

Depending on what type of hair you have. But, I sometimes leave the conditioner in after shampooing and rinsing my hair. I know everyone says you shouldn't do it, but like yours, my hair is very thick and curly, so it just sucks it up! But the conditioner works for me!

Seriously give blow drying a go. It would really help if you know how to blow dry broperly. If you cant then get sum1 to help you. First you have to dry your hair with a blow dryer, once its dry, section the hair, get a round bristle brush and pull at the hair whilst you are blow drying. If it still doesnt work then straighten it.

It might be the shampoo/conditioner you are using. Try the new Herbal Essence product line that just came out. The formula is much better than the old stuff. My hair has never felt better. I use the Mango one titled "None of Your Frizziness." I love the smell too!

Use a good conditioner after washing, the kind you rinse out. I use the same kind as the shampoo I'm using. But also use a leave-in conditioner, as well. Check things out at Sally Beauty Supply. They have good lines of stuff.
