Chickendance Elmo (Elmo wants to be a chicken, Elmo wants to be a duck...), talking Spongebob, a child's karaoke set, the books (NOT the LeapPads, these were something else, might be older and no longer being made) that have the mazes and match questions and the wand that makes noise when you hit the right thing, are just a couple that I've personally experienced. But those are all for preschool or younger kids. Are you avoiding things like this or seeking revenge?

Being a mom and having a pain in the rear sister in law, The best choices are play dough for little kids and a loud learning toy for older children........... example leap pad or Game boy. Children have short attention spans. You can buy three games, they will play the easiest one over and over again and ask that mom for recognition. Mission accomplished and it doesn't look like you meant to annoy anyone. My in-law did this to her so called friend. She gave play dough as a gift.... the problem is they have white carpet all over their house.. Ha Ha. Thank god she only gave me a gift card

Anything that talks, sings, etc, all by itself. The more inane the songs, the more miserable it would make the mom.

A video game machine (x-box or whatever the latest thing is) would really bother me, too .

I gave my nephew a "Stinky Kit". It is like a chemistry set with "experiments" that smell really bad. Kits to grow maggots is another interesting choice. My sister was mad at me after that. My son got some"Slime" last year for his birthday...oh, that was a joy! Just be ready for pay backs if you are the gift giver...

The 120 piece legos set that my son got last year. He loves it, but it makes my life miserable because I'm the one who has to clean them up (when I want them cleaned up properly) and there always seems to be a loose one that I always end up stepping on.

Tickle Me Elmo, or Hockey Pokey Elmo...in fact anything that is Elmo! That is the absolute worst. Not only is his voice annoying, but to watch him dance and sing is enough to make you want to pull your hair out.

Any toy musical instrument with horns and drums rating high. Alien space guns are also good. So who are you mad at?
