Can you tell me anything about corn and it being genetically modified as well as anything else about its natural crop.. such as what size is it generally nad what is the shelf life of the natural crop?

Corn like most genetically modified crops is very susceptible to pests like aphids, earworms, silkflies etc. Genetic modifications include faster growth and maturity, larger ears, more kernels per ear, sweeter taste, color, etc. As far as I know corn originated in America and then spread once it was discovered by Europeans. The average height of a field grown corn plant is ~8-10 ft. But size, color, taste etc depend on the variety. Shelf life depends on how it is packaged and at what temp it is kept at.
