Had a package of frozen bratwurst in my freezer. Now I want to eat them. First they have to thaw. About how long will this take?

Are You kidding me? First Grab a can/bottle of Your favorite beer, pull the wrapper off your brats, toss the brats and enough good micro beer(Make sure its something you like) And make sure the beer covers your brats, cook your brats till they no longer look raw, Turn the stove off, pull your brauts, and if possible cook them on a grill/ or you can use a broile if you must" turning them untill nice and brown on all sides, and dont forgrt to have a nice hard roll to cradle them in, Add your favorite condement, and enjoy! (Under no circumstanses do you spear with a fork while on a hot grill/barb-b-q Hot *** grease burns may result! Enjoy~

Do it the right way, you will love it. Frozen or not as long as they are raw, boil them in beer. Not a hot violent boil but one that bubbles slightly till they are cooked thoroughly. Save one brat, to test from time to time till it is cooked enough for you, that way you don't pop the wrap on the others.

Do you have a micro wave ? Yes- defrost on 1/2 lb or 8 oz setting
No- put them in warm water on the stove on medium heat - I like mine simmered a bit then I give them a quick fry.
