For the other answerers, the plural of martini is martinis, not martini's.

A true martini is traditionally more of a man's drink because of it being pure alcohol. But, that doesn't keep women from ordering them and enjoying them. I'd say it's more of a man's drink than a Cosmo but less than a Manhattan.

Cosmos, Lemon Drops, Chocotinis, etc are not real martinis. They are mixed drinks served in a martini glass.

As with most drinks, it depends. Your straight vodka or gin martini is most often considered a man's drink, while the fruity ones are women's drinks. Of course, I'm a man, and I happen to really like peach martinis, so there really are no hard and fast rules.

Depends on what kind of martini. If it's a lemon drop or a cosmo, definitely a woman's. The others are pretty much co-ed.
