corn flour is made from corn and wheat flour is made with wheat. You can use corn flour just like reg. flour as far as thickening. Just sprinkle the corn flour in a little at a time until you get the desired thickness.

Corn flour is finer and mixes easily in water. It is usually mixed with a small amount of cold water, stirred and added to a boiling liquid and stirred constantly until it thickens. Also you can add it to cold milk then heat until boiling, but you have to stir constantly to keep it from getting lumpy and burning onto the bottom of the pan.

The same way as wheat flour I think.
My mother used to make cornmeal gravy.
It was delicious. Either way, ground wheat or corn. It works the same but ends up as a different taste and texture.
