I have had this pain up on my right shoulder. Say somebody came up to you and layed their hand on your shoulder. Thats excatly where it hurts.Its down in there. I push down on it whew it hurts. Some days more than others. I am 49yrs old.I know I proably have to go to a dr. Just wanting to know if anyone has experience this pain or if anyone has an idea on what the hells wrong.

It could anything, rotator cuff, partial tear, frozen shoulder, right now it could practicly anything, but for the moment try to put warm compressions till you see your doctor, avoid sleeping on that side and having to pick up heavy things with that arm. But above all see a specialist.

Pain in the right shoulder is a classical indicator of gall bladder problems or stones. You are female and in your forties...if you are also overweight then Bingo...you have all 3 risk factors! See a doctor ASAP.

mine hurt all the time now , i just have to deal with it the rest of my life ,i've been through major shoulder sugery on both shoulders now , the pain will never go away , and none of the pain kirres on the market do anything at all to relieve the pain , but it will never get any better if you don't have sugery for it
