As suggested, check with a travel agent, or anonymously with customs.

There is an alternative to flying, and that is the ferry ... so long as you did not disembark in canada, you should have no trouble taking it, from bellingham, WA to various points in Alaska on the Inside Passage.

I'd call a travel agent who deals with this more often. There was a case here locally where a man had a DUI 23 years ago and was refused entry to Canada.

You can drive across the border; but the same checks for entry apply.

You didn't mention how long ago you got the DUI, my hubby (unfortunately) had one as well and we cross the border, going south, quite often.

There is a statute of limitations on the restrictions and I believe after 1 year you can file for a pardon. Once that's done you won't have to worry about it any more.

I have had twin for decades now, I have by no potential had them question me those variety of questions. besides the undeniable fact that i have by no potential had a previous something contained in the category of a DUI! So i might want to both call the guards or locate out in the journey that they could attraction it.
