You lose weight from anywhere through diet and cardio. There's no such thing as losing from one specific place (you may, simply because that's where you gain it and lose it, but not because you trained specifically to lose it there). You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

Why would you want to lose weight in the butt?

You can lose weight all over your body at once, but it sounds like you want a different body shape.

You can do that with lipo' or metabolizing injections, but fat stays where it is no matter how much of it you have. The cells just get bigger or smaller depending on how much they store.
