I think they are looking for narrowminded people like themselves to validate their own shortcomings...and make them feel like their self-justified (if slightly askewed) view is correct, or acceptable.

Sometimes i think that they do it just to get the attention of the groups they say they don't want. Also some people are afraid of being belittled by people of certain religions.

sometimes they do want only a specific opinion on something ..
i dont see anything wrong with that in most cases
i wouldnt ask a Christian about reading tarot cards would i ?
so i would address Pagans and Wiccans
but by all means i cannot stop others answering as this is an open forum

They are afraid that someone elses' opinion or belief might actually make scene to them...Then what are they to do..Actually go out and study..to find the truth for them self? Now come on that would mean they actually had to think for them self and not have someone else tell them how to act and feel....

I guess they dont wanna hear other peoples opinions...
A) because they are rude
B) because they are different to their beliefs!!
each to their own i guess... i mean it is a free world kind of! esp when it comes to what we write on here...or at least until Yahoo! Answers team take it off lol!!
