i hired alawyer for an auto accident .the car hit us.the attorney has nver talkedt to me ,he settled with out my aggreement

No. He can not settle until you agree. Unless you signed agreement papers that authorized him to settle for a certain amount. Seek legal advise from your local (legal) bar association.

He can't settle without your consent, but out of curiosity did he get an amount that you had previously agreed to accepting if offered? I'm not sure of the specifics of your case, so you should discuss this with him. Until you sign the release nothing is final.

No I do not think that is right at all. The lawyers act on your instructions. Hate to say it but I think you should see another lawyer for professional advice.

I don't see how he can settle without your agreement. Find an attorney that does LEGAL MALPRACTICE...he can tell you.
