No, it's lazy and it's dangerous. If you really want to lose weight do it the proper way. People die because of stomach stapling, they claim all they want is to be thin - but apparently not enough to get out of their reinforced chair and do some exercise once in a while.

I don't think that surgery is necessary for most overweight people. I think a majority of them opt to do this because they are to lazy to do the work.
I knew someone that decided to have this surgery and for a few months she did great. Lost a lot of weight. But after a while she went right back to her old habits and started gaining the weight back. I also think she had a lot of stomach issues because well she was overeating and had a stapled stomach. I didn't like this girl any less but it did seem a shame to waste all of that money.
You'd have to ask a doctor about whether or not it would affect your ability to have children.

My brother had the gastric bypass surgery. He weighed over 500 pnds, last I heard this time last year he was 245 pnds. I was jealous because I was 250pnds. I started out at 310 and now I am 215pnds. I eat when I am hungry. I eat more proteins. I drink plenty of fluids mostly water. I eat less carbs, meaning I eat better carbs and don't waste on empty carbs. I move, meaning even when I am sitting still I find a way to move because every calorie you burn counts. So you figure out what is best for you.

That really depends. If you're BMI level is appropriate, then it might be something to think about, but it's really dangerous. If you get a lap band, then you can have kids, but with just a stapling, having a child would be really dangerous.

NO and i think it's called liposuction. If you want to lose weight i think you just watch what you eat and workout like others, who lost their weight. getting lipo is taking the lazy way out of it and I'm not sure if it decreases the chances of having a baby cause your stomach got cut off, but i dont think that getting liposuction is the answer! hope this helps :o)
